At Dopper, we believe that festivals and sustainability go hand in hand. We get that change takes time but forcing people to pay an arm and a leg for a fist-sized single-use water bottle without a cap feels more than a little outdated.
To help nudge things forward, we teamed up with Green Events to create a 5-step roadmap that festivals can follow to make tap water and BYOB the norm.
And to make things easier for you, we’ve mapped out where some of the best festivals stand. So you know exactly where your bottle is welcome and where it's still stuck at the gate.
Step 1 – Offer tap water
Step 2 – Allow reusable bottles
Step 3 – Encourage visitors to bring reusable bottles
Step 4 – Avoid selling single-use packaged water
Step 5 – Only offer tap water and don’t provide packaged water

Whether you’re getting lost at Into the Great Wide Open
or dancing all-out at Lago Lago, now you know where to
hydrate sustainably and where to (kindly) push for change.
If your favorite festival isn’t mentioned, you can always slide
into their DMs and see where they stand.
See you at the tap.
