Drop a beat

Few things beat a good festival. Music, dancing, making memories, being with friends. What’s not to like? Well, there is one thing. Festivals leave behind mountains of single-use plastic waste. That’s where we come in. As long-time advocates for reducing single-use plastic and driving behaviour change, we believe real cultural shifts should start in places of celebration.

In 2023, we joined forces with ADE Green to spark a shift and make Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) the new festival norm. It’s just the second step in our five-step Tap Water at Events model, but it’s catching on.

In 2025, we were proud to support Lago Lago in becoming the first Dutch electronic music festival to reach step five: banning bottled water entirely and offering tap water to every single attendee. Together we prevented 15,000 bottles from being wasted.

We’ve also teamed up with the international NGO Bye Bye Plastic for their summer campaign to make bringing your own bottle the norm at festivals across France and Belgium.

Because sustainability should be fun and part of daily life. Festivals blend culture and joy, setting trends and inspiring change.

Bringing your own bottle? It’s not only sustainable, it's part of the new look.

Want to know which festivals we’ll be at this summer, and which ones allow you to bring your own bottle? Check the list here.
