As a mission-driven company we conduct research to understand how our products help us achieve that mission. Through this research we’ve found that every Dopper bottle saves the equivalent of 104 single-use plastic water bottles every year.
As a Certified B Corporation we follow social, environmental and governance best practices. We strive to continuously improve our sustainability standards and use the recertification process as a framework to hold ourselves accountable. We’re currently in the top 10% of all B Corporations overall and in the top 5% of companies (with 10-49 employees) in the Environment score.
Every bottle and accessory we make is Cradle to Cradle Certified®. This means that we follow the strictest sustainability requirements according to the world’s most advanced science-based measures. As of 2023, the Dopper Original became the first and only reusable bottle collection to achieve Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold: making it the most sustainable reusable water bottle.
Being a Certified Carbon Neutral Company means we’ve reduced our carbon emissions, as much as we currently can, and compensate what we do emit so the earth is able to absorb it. Going one step further, we’re working to become ‘net zero’ by 2030. Net zero continues where carbon neutral stops, like reporting and compensating not only our direct emissions, but the emissions of our suppliers.
Our business only works because our people and partners can do their job safely while being treated fairly. Not only are we a certified Great Place to Work we also adhere to the full amfori BSCI Code of Conduct, and only work with partners who do the same.
In 2024, we created a Digital Product Passport for every Dopper bottle and accessory. The Digital Product Passport is an industry first and enables everyone, and anyone, to track a Dopper product’s lifecycle: from inception to end-of-life.

In 2021, the Dopper Glass was given the Green Product Award in the Consumer Goods Category. Made of renewable, lead-free borosilicate glass with 15% recycled content it’s shipped using biofuel and arrives in a plastic-free packaging made from 100% recycled material. end-of-life.
In 2021, we partnered with Dutch retailer, Bever, to launch a program to recycle old, damaged or unused Dopper bottles. We’re currently working to turn all returned Dopper bottles into raw materials to be used for new products.
Every product choice we make is based on sustainability. Yes to safe colour pigments, no to endless colour variations. Yes to an easy-to-recycle three-part design, no to layering materials that make recycling a nightmare. Yes to 90% recycled steel for our Steel collection, no to lead in our Insulated collection.
